Dr. Sunita Dube Supports Terry Fox Run For Cancer Treatment

More than 10,000 children participated for Terry Fox Run which was organised in Mumbai’s Marine Drive area on Sunday morning. Terry Fox Run is organised to spread awareness about cancer. Dr. Sunita Dube who’s working restlessly to support the cancer patient has shown her support to Terry Fox Run to raise fund for their treatment. She said, “People are very excited to participate in this run. It is one of the largest run as more than 10, 000 children were participated it to make people aware about cancer. We are here to raise as much money as possible for cancer research.”

As you are aware, at the start of every year the Terry Fox (India) Committee organizes the Terry Fox Run to raise awareness and funding for Cancer Research with Tata Memorial Hospital. Sunday, 3rd February 2019) in our endeavor to fund Cancer Research and help the committed doctors of Tata Memorial Hospital as they save lives and battle childhood cancer.

    

Dr. Shripad Banavali, Director of Tata Memorial Hospital said: “20 years ago only 2 out of 10 children used to go back home and today 20 years later, 8 children out of 10 go back home with the advance in research made by Tata Memorial Hospital through monies donated by Terry Fox Run.”
